Come join us for general apple merriment and apple juice pressing from 1pm onwards. There'll be hot apple juice, food, apple juice pressing, tours of the garden, surplus plants for sale and much more. There will also be pre-prepared, pasteurised (that keeps for one year) for sale too. Don't forget to bring your own bottles for freshly pressed juice. There is usually a surplus so, if you can, BIG containers:) All donations go towards the maintenance of this beautiful garden.
If you have any surplus apples, bring them to the garden and we will press them into juice for you for a donation. Generally your apples will go into a mix, but if you want your apples pressed separately make sure you say so when you arrive. Please wash your apples properly if you can before bringing them. The pre-pressing of apples will not happen at the garden but close-by at the back of 18 Providence Avenue, LS6 2HN. So you can go straight there if you want.
There'll be a wee fire 6pm onwards once it gets dark for even more merriment, so bring some food, smiles and music making for that too.
Lastly, we generally need lots of hands to help set up - the day before and at 10am on the day. If you would like to get involved (and get much apple juice in return) please get in touch:)
See you there hopefully!
