People's Food Policy discussion @ Bedford Shed

In partnership with the Food Sovereignty Movement and the Landworkers' Alliance, we invite you to participate in an evening of consultation, an opportunity for you to contribute to the drafting of a national People’s Food Policy based on Food Sovereignty Principles.

Introduction from Andy Goldring, member of the People's Food Policy working group and CEO of the Permaculture Association.
Facilitated by Rita Oldenbourg (Bardon Grange Project, member of the Landworkers' Alliance) and Luke Tilley (Green Action, Hyde Park Source)

Food is immensely important in our lives – fundamentally, we need it to live. But the networks that produce, deliver, package, and sell food are also an integral part of all the social, political, and economic systems that govern nations and world economies. In this workshop we will be imagining what our food system could look like if guided by the six pillars of Food Sovereignty, and brainstorming the changes we need to make to get us there.
